Daniel Sait is a Sussex based artist working from a studio in the heart of the National Park in the South Downs.
When he moved to Sussex 25 years ago, Daniel fell in love with the county, and continues to be inspired by the exquisite scenery and culture. Much of his work is inspired by Sussex, its countryside, towns, culture and people.
After a career in publishing, Daniel is now dedicating himself full time to art, spending many hours walking in the Downs and all over Sussex looking for inspiration and enjoying the scenery. His inspiration comes mainly from the Op Art Movement and in particular, the work of Victor Vasarely and Bridget Riley.
I have a particular fondness for the sea and this features in most of the work, it is, as the song says, ‘Good Old Sussex By the Sea’ after all.
