ART5 Gallery is delighted to announce TRIO: Three Brighton Artists, a group exhibition of work by three of ART5 Gallery’s most exciting local artists: Adam Morgan, Alexandra Richardson & Tiffany Lynch! This exciting event is the perfect way to close the summer season, showcasing exclusive new collections by each artist with a mixture of contemporary figurative work, dreamy landscapes and glittering treescapes.
Adam Morgan’s passion for art started early and from the age of 7 he would spend days drawing pop culture images with coloured pencil. With a keen interest in mathematics and the universe, his art focuses on the dissonance of being human and the harsh reality of nature. He uses pattern and paint-throwing to contrast with more figurative elements, with themes including beauty, sexuality, humanity and connection to instinctive behaviours and nature. His influences include Fred Tomaselli, Euan Euglow, and Gustav Klimt.
Alexandra Richardson was born in Cornwall but spent most of her teenage years in Virginia U.S.A. Alex has been a natural artist since birth and continued her artistic education at Brighton City College, specialising in Illustration and Photography. After falling in love with painting, Alex has taken great pleasure in teaching herself new techniques over the past decade, often seeking out new projects such as tribute work. Alex takes inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci, Monet and M. C. Escher.
Tiffany Lynch was born in Sussex and went to London’s St Martins School of Art and Design, gaining a first class BA & MA. Her vibrant paintings have been shown at the RA Summer Show, The London Group RCA, The Mall Galleries, Battersea, Bristol, Brighton and Edinburgh Art Fairs amongst other contemporary galleries. Her art has been published by Bloomsbury Press, Penguin, Virago and her prints have been produced found in John Lewis, with her work recently scouted for London Zoo.
‘We’re excited to launch a group show of three of the gallery’s most popular artists, Adam Morgan, Alexandra Richardson and Tiffany Lynch, with TRIO. Whilst producing wildly different work, their styles complement each other beautifully, with the show sure to be a stunning showcase of the best of local contemporary painting! ’ Gallery manager Melissa Luckhurst remarks.
